Job Description

The role of Financial Reporting Supervisor encompasses preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulations and accounting standards. This position is critical to the organization's overall success, requiring a high degree of expertise in financial reporting and analysis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team as a key player in shaping the company's financial reporting strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all reports.

This role requires excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including primary statements and note disclosures, in accordance with relevant GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Template Development: Develop template financial statements using specialized software and third-party applications.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate weekly calls between auditors, investment managers, and stakeholders, tracking status and resolving queries related to GAAP or local regulations.
  • Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal, or Business graduate; Certified Public Accountant preferred but not required. At least 4-5 years of experience in audit, fund administration, or fund accounting in the asset management and investment fund industry.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders, including auditors, investment managers, and colleagues.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient at MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), with a strong understanding of financial reporting software and tools.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and patterns, and develop effective solutions to address issues.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Flexibility to work effectively within a team structure and independently, with a strong focus on collaboration and open communication.
