Job Description

We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Department for our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

This is a Permanent / Full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions.

  • You will use your assessment skills and strategies to determine the patient's needs during admission.
  • Thorough and accurate documentation of nursing admission assessments will be expected.
  • You will continuously assess the patient's condition and clearly state the patient problems for which nursing care will be provided.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Possess a complete registration in the NMBI-maintained Register of Nurses, General Division.
  • Evidence of personal and professional development.
  • Ongoing skills training - related to care necessary for patient caseload.
  • At least three years recent relevant post-registration nursing experience (full-time or equivalent hours part-time) in an acute hospital setting with at least one year's Emergency Department nursing experience.
