This is a full-time, permanent role with the following key responsibilities:
- To administer chemotherapy according to protocols set by the hospital Cancer Centre.
- To provide information about treatment and side effects, including written documentation as necessary.
The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receiving chemotherapy have continued access to specialist care, expertise, and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Maintain a current NMBI PIN and be listed on the general division of the NMBI's registry of nurses.
- Minimum two years' experience working in an acute hospital context after registration (preferably one year in an oncology setting).
Desirable Skills:
- Clinical and professional aptitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT abilities and familiarity with Microsoft and medical systems.
- Possess an interest in oncology and willingness to participate in relevant training programs.
