Senior Land Agent/Property Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Land & Property Services Team

This role involves leading the team, conducting farm visits and impact assessments of infrastructural developments, developing company portfolios of clients, providing representation and advice on property related matters, expertise and assistance/advice to the consultancy team, liaison with clients and other project stakeholders, writing technical reports, contributing to project progress meetings, negotiating and executing landowner compensation claims, participating in arbitration and expert testimony proceedings, coordinating project teams where required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Property, Agriculture, Valuations or related discipline.
  • 5+ years' post graduate experience.
  • Strong project management skills, client liaison and programme delivery.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of land and property rights.
  • Experience of negotiating compensation claims.
  • A strong understanding of relevant policy and legislation.
  • A current auctioneering licence issued by the relevant authority.
  • A full member of IPAV and/or a Chartered Member of RICS or working towards the same.

This role will require a mix of field and office-based duties from home. Occasional travel to our head office or client offices may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct farm visits and assess the impact of infrastructural developments.
  2. Develop company portfolios of clients and provide representation and advice on property-related matters.
  3. Provide expertise and assistance to the consultancy team.
  4. Liaise with clients and other project stakeholders.
  5. Write technical reports and contribute to project progress meetings.
  6. Negotiate and execute landowner compensation claims.
  7. Participate in arbitration and expert testimony proceedings.
  8. Coordinate project teams where required.
