Senior Land Agent/ Property Consultant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Land Agent/Property Consultant to lead our Land and Property Services Team. This is a challenging role that requires strong project management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to negotiate compensation claims.

  • The ideal candidate will have a level 8 degree in Property, Agriculture, Valuations or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience with expertise in land and property rights, including wayleaves, easements, and land acquisition.
  • Familiarity with relevant policy and legislation, including CPO processes and voluntary acquisition arrangements.
  • Auctioneering licence issued by the PSRA.
  • Fellowship of IPAV and/or Chartered Member of RICS or working towards the same would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
  • Completing farm visits and conducting impact assessments of infrastructural developments.
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant developments in the industry.
  • Developing the company portfolio of clients and providing representation and advice on property-related matters as required.
  • Providing technical expertise and assistance/advice to the consultancy team as needed.
  • Liaising with clients and other project stakeholders as necessary.
  • Writing technical reports and contributing to project progress meetings.
  • Negotiating and executing landowner compensation claims.
  • Contributing to arbitration and expert testimony proceedings as required.
