Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and current conditions to determine the best course of treatment, using critical thinking and clinical judgment.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and treatments, adhering to relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current on best practices and new technologies, enhancing clinical expertise and patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, demonstrating commitment to professional standards and excellence.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a nursing role, preferably in a hospital setting, showcasing adaptability and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering positive relationships and delivering exceptional care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion, upholding trust and respect for patients and colleagues alike.
