Advanced CPU Architect Role

This leadership position focuses on architecting and micro-architecturing cutting-edge out-of-order superscalar CPU cores used in next-generation System-on-Chip designs.

As a Staff Engineer, you will collaborate with architecture teams to lead the architectural specification process. Expertise in OOO superscalar CPU workings, coherency in multi-core systems, and workload performance analysis is essential for this role.

  • You will author detailed specifications for CPU cores, conduct reviews, and collaborate with other architects to optimize CPU system performance.
  • Work closely with design teams to implement and verify solutions, including power analysis and process-related decisions.

Key qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of experience leading architectural efforts in OOO superscalar CPU designs.
  • Expertise in CPU micro-architectures, memory hierarchy, and multi-core coherency.
  • Strong understanding of SoC design principles, including accelerators, CPUs, and memory subsystems.

This position requires a team player who prioritizes collaboration and communication. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are also necessary.
