We are seeking an accomplished Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead a busy team providing design and technical services on various project types, including urbanism, industrial, high tech, commercial, and healthcare developments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the mechanical services design process, designing and specifying mechanical services for various types of buildings and sectors, producing detailed schematics, mentoring junior engineering staff, and monitoring installation/quality on site until project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical services design process
- Design and specify mechanical services for various types of buildings and sectors
- Produce detailed schematics and technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineering staff and provide guidance and support
- Monitor installation/quality on site until project completion
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum degree qualification in mechanical or building services engineering
- Minimum 10+ years of mechanical building services consultancy design experience
- Chartered status is advantageous
- Knowledge and experience working with Revit and proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and REVIT
- Familiarity with structural, architectural, and electrical models to appreciate space limitations and interferences
