
Support Workers for Individuals with Disabilities

As a Social Care Worker, you will provide support to individuals with medium to profound disabilities in residential services. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with Department of Health Regulations and HIQA Standards.
You will work in one of the following areas:
- Supporting children and adults with medium to profound disability
- Supporting young people who are unable to live with their own families
Positions are available in various locations across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing person-centered care to individuals with complex needs
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve individualized outcomes
- Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for service users
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 12 months relevant experience in social services
- A professional degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Studies or a related field
- Eligibility to register with CORU
- A full clean manual driving license with access to your own vehicle
