Leadership Role in Fund Accounting

Lead Multiple Teams to Deliver High-Quality Services

As a senior fund accounting professional, you will provide oversight and mentorship to managers, develop strong client relationships, and ensure operational excellence. In this leadership role, you will drive the delivery of high-quality services across a complex portfolio of investment fund clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to fund accounting teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality services
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting and review NAV calculations
  • Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks according to regulatory requirements and industry best practice
  • Act as primary escalation point and trusted advisor for clients
  • Coordinate with auditors, custodians, and stakeholders to resolve complex issues
  • Review performance and fee calculations, allocations, and reconciliations
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and support new product launches and system implementations
  • Mentor and develop team members to support growth and succession planning

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8–10 years' experience in investment fund accounting or fund administration (hedge fund experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams at a senior level
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, valuation methodologies, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • High level of accountability, organization, and attention to detail
