Enterprise Upgrade Expert

ManageEngine Applications Manager requires a skilled Upgrade Specialist to oversee planning, execution, and support of upgrades. This critical role ensures timely updates and smooth version transitions for the application. Key Responsibilities include planning, testing, and implementing upgrades across environments (Dev, QA, Prod), coordinating with stakeholders to determine upgrade timelines and impact assessments, reviewing ManageEngine release notes, assessing compatibility and dependencies with OS, databases, and plugins, performing pre-upgrade backups, data integrity checks, and configuration exports, installing and validating new versions or patches, troubleshooting and resolving post-upgrade issues, maintaining upgrade documentation, and working with ManageEngine support to resolve technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise application administration or upgrades
• Hands-on experience with ManageEngine Applications Manager, including version migration and configuration
• Solid understanding of infrastructure components: Windows/Linux servers, PostgreSQL/MSSQL, SNMP, WMI
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex application-level issues
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination
