Insurance Underwriter/Claims Assessor Job Description

This role is responsible for reviewing applications and assessing claims for life and serious illness products. You will be making accurate and timely decisions, following internal guidelines and standards.

As an Insurance Underwriter/Claims Assessor, you will clearly explain decisions to customers and advisers in a professional way. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders is essential for this role.

You will identify opportunities for improvement and help us do things better every day. Maintaining a positive team-focused attitude and acting with integrity is crucial.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluent German language skills are required for this position.
  • A couple of years' experience in underwriting or claims for life/serious illness insurance is desirable.
  • Alternatively, a medical background or relevant business qualification would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Good time management and organisational ability are also required.
