Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Act as a designated Person in Charge in line with regulation requirements.">
  • Support the Head of Operations in delivering quality care.">
  • Provide clear direction and overall management of the designated centre.">
  • Monitor and review services provided.">
  • Provide emergency management support as required.">
  • Promote a culture of quality assurance within the location.">
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with families and agencies involved in service provision.">
  • Report to the Head of Operations.">

Essential Qualifications and Requirements:

">
  • ">
  • QQI Level 7 BA in Applied Social Studies or equivalent, or RNID, RGN or RCN qualification with NMBI registration.">
  • A management qualification in Health/Social Care or be in the process of obtaining it.">
  • CORU registered or currently in the process of obtaining registration.">
  • A minimum of 3 years' supervisory or management experience.">
  • Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills.">
  • Ability to make sound judgments and decisions based on current legislation and individual circumstances.">
  • Ability to assess situations and apply analytical and problem-solving approaches to meet service needs.">
  • Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards and relevant legislation.">
  • Experience in strategic and local change management.">
  • Competent IT and presentation skills.">
  • Hold a full clean driving license and have access to a car.">
