About the Job:

The Manager will support the Investment Risk function through risk reporting and oversight for regulated funds. This role will primarily focus on risk reporting for ManCo clients, particularly the calculation of market risk analytics and monitoring of investment compliance limits.

The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of fund regulations and an understanding of the environment in which funds operate. They will also possess a minimum of six years' experience in the finance/funds/investment management industry and a strong knowledge of AIFMD or UCITS regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing fund-related reports provided by Investment Managers
  • Performing due diligence on Investment Managers as part of client acceptance process
  • Analysing the key risk indicators of Waystone's client portfolios
  • Preparing regulatory reports such as Annex IV
  • Conducting liquidity stress testing in accordance with each fund's policy
  • Preparing risk reporting for monthly review by Waystone's Risk Committee
  • Presenting risk analysis at external fund board meetings
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a 3rd level Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • A Master's Degree in a Finance or Mathematical field or a related professional qualification would be desirable but not required
  • A high level of proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience in Bloomberg or similar systems would be beneficial
  • Clarity of analysis and expression, both written and oral
  • A commitment to ongoing professional and personal development
