Obesity Care Manager
At our health service, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage obesity care in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of patients with obesity-related health issues. This includes providing education and support on healthy eating habits, exercise, and lifestyle modifications, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with obesity-related health issues.
- Provide education and support to patients on healthy eating habits, exercise, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address patient needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, current conditions, and treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, progress, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- RN or equivalent qualification with postgraduate training in clinical nursing or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical nursing, preferably in an acute hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of obesity management principles, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
