Environmental Consultant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced environmental consultant to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage initiatives effectively.

Key responsibilities include leading and managing environmental consultancy projects, providing expert advice on environmental planning matters, conducting audits, and preparing reports.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a good working knowledge of EU and Irish legislation, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience working in the environmental sector.
  • Membership/Chartered Status with a relevant professional body/institute.
  • A minimum BSc or BA (Hons) degree in environmental science or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to lead initiatives.
  • A good working knowledge and experience of implementing EU and Irish legislation relating to environmental compliance and management of contaminated land.
  • High attention to detail, excellent report writing, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesise complex data into clear insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • A full driving license.
