Automotive Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled Automotive Specialists to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience and be well-versed in the service and repair of vehicles.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing vehicle health checks, diagnosing malfunctions, and carrying out repairs in accordance with industry standards.
You will also be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform vehicle servicing and diagnostics with efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate with colleagues to obtain needed parts and inform the workshop manager if a vehicle is awaiting parts.
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair after confirming authorization by the customer.
- Save and tag any and all parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
- Examine the vehicle and perform vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Road-test vehicles to spot check work performed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical bulletins and attend training classes as necessary.
- A minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to identify and explain additional work required to customers or colleagues.
- Familiarity with ADP/Kerridge environment an advantage.
