About the Role

Dublin Simon Community is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making home a reality for individuals experiencing homelessness and marginalization. Our mission is to empower people to access and sustain housing through prevention, addiction treatment, emergency response, and targeted interventions in collaboration with our partners.

We prioritize best practices in human resources, including staff training, communication, and involvement in decision-making, to create a supportive and effective work environment.

As a client-focused professional, you will join our team of dedicated experts who share our values and are committed to making a difference.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embed trauma-informed principles into service delivery, staff development, and client engagement strategies.
  • Drive the initial two-year pilot programme focused on embedding trauma-informed practice across four key services within the organization.
  • Lead the strategic vision for scaling trauma-informed practice beyond the initial four pilot services, ensuring consistent TIP approaches and reporting structures across all frontline services.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including service managers, frontline staff, HR, and training teams, as well as external consultants, funders, and trauma-informed care experts.

The successful candidate will be a strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate trauma-informed principles into practical, scalable actions. They will have proven ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, frontline staff, and external partners.

A relevant third-level qualification and experience in leading or managing projects, programmes, or service development initiatives are essential qualifications and experience required for this role.
