Senior Software Engineering Manager Position

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our software development teams and enhance their engineering capabilities.

About the Role

This leadership position requires a senior professional with expertise in Thought Leadership, Strategy Development, Stakeholder Engagement and experience operating within the Fintech and Banking space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams across application, web, mobile, platform or cloud technologies
  • Develop business cases and implement financial governance in a Banking/Financial Services context
  • Apply knowledge of software development languages, including Java/JVM and .NET
  • Design and implement Cloud Architecture principles using AWS, Open Shift, Azure, or GCP
  • Tailor communication style/language to technical and business stakeholders through strong Stakeholder Management experience
  • Deliver change utilising Agile methodologies
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Solid experience in Banking/Financial Services
  • Strong knowledge of software development languages, ideally Java/JVM, or .NET
  • Experience in Cloud Architecture principles
  • Strong Stakeholder Management experience
  • Solid commercial mindset with experience in bid preparation and pitch writing
