Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineering Leader to drive technical innovation and excellence in our organization.


About the Role

The successful candidate will lead high-throughput and multi-tenant services, design components carefully, handle errors properly, write clean and well-factored code with good tests, and ensure good maintainability. They will also:

  1. Provide technical leadership for the team, develop their own technical designs as well as contribute, coach, and review technical designs from other teams.
  2. Partner with key stakeholders to drive improvements and changes across multiple teams and geographies.
  3. Design, develop, and build large-scale distributed software services and solutions.
  4. Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for production services.
  5. Develop engineering best practices by ensuring that services and components are well-defined, modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored, and reusable.
  6. Gain a working understanding of our businesses and collaborate with other leaders to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end user experiences.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and in-depth technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  2. Ability to meet security screening requirements, including passing background checks upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
