Key responsibilities of the role include diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a diverse range of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and specialist vehicles. The successful candidate will have experience working with top brands such as Mercedes, Iveco and Ford.
Additionally, the position requires ensuring all vehicles meet rigorous safety and quality standards. This is predominantly a workshop-based role with mobile capability, requiring attendance at breakdowns as necessary.
- Diagnose, maintain and repair HGVs and specialist vehicles
- Work with renowned vehicle manufacturers including Mercedes, Iveco and Ford
- Ensure all vehicles meet stringent safety and quality standards
- Attend to breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, including an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent. A full UK/Irish/EU Class C or CE manual driving licence is also essential.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach, combined with a genuine passion for vehicle maintenance, are key attributes required for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
