Job Description

We are seeking an experienced retail professional to join our team as a Duty Manager/Senior Trainee Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and progress in their career.

The successful candidate will work as part of the store's management team, assisting the senior managers with the day-to-day running of the busy store. They will be responsible for managing a team of up to 40 staff members, stock ordering and control, HACCP duties, keyholder responsibilities, product displays, and ensuring the highest quality products are displayed at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a trainee manager within a busy supermarket
  • Previous experience within a Super Valu/Centra store is desirable but not essential
  • HACCP trained
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of the retail grocery industry and current trends
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Previous experience of staff training and development
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Excellent security awareness
