This role involves transforming technical specifications and tender documents into comprehensive quotations. A crucial part of this position is ensuring the accuracy and technical soundness of tender documents, as well as preparing and submitting electrical tenders in a timely manner.

A key aspect of this job is attending site visits and client briefings, as well as working closely with clients and colleagues to review tenders and handovers. Additionally, you will be responsible for finalizing all tender bids and attending pre-order meetings to secure contracts and hand them over to Project Managers while meeting tight deadlines.

To excel in this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience working as an Estimator or Electrical Engineer in an Estimator role with a reputable contractor.

Strong analytical, mathematical, and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to work accurately and independently under pressure.

A proven track record of experience as an Electrical estimator in industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Industrial, Power Generation, Oil & Gas would be advantageous, but not required.

Travel between Ireland and the UK is an integral part of this role, and you will be based at our Waterford office.
