Electrical Estimator Job Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and estimating, with excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed tenders based on drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other information.
  • Source subcontractor and supplier quotations, analyse information for ambiguity, risk and qualification and seek clarification where necessary.
  • Turn specifications and tender information into quotations, ensure that tender documents are correct and technically accurate.
  • Attend site visits and client briefings, work closely with clients and other colleagues to review tenders and handovers.
  • Finalise all tender bids and attend pre-order meetings to secure contracts and hand over to Project Managers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working as an Estimator or Electrical Engineer performing an Estimator role with well-established general contractor.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and general IT skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering successful projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Power Generation, and Oil & Gas industries. Occasional travel between Ireland and the UK is part of the role.
