Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished MES Support Specialist to provide expert-level technical assistance and maintenance services for our customers' Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).


The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, computer science, or information systems, with at least 3 years of experience working with MES platforms in regulated manufacturing environments.


This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide hands-on support for MES, SAP, and PI interface problems, and participate in scheduled maintenance activities.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Onsite Technical Support: Provide direct involvement in troubleshooting at the shop floor level for MES, SAP, and PI interface issues.
  2. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot MES-related incidents and service requests directly on the production floor, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  3. Scheduled Maintenance: Participate in scheduled maintenance and ensure proper documentation of activities.
  4. System Administration: Execute support and sustainment tasks in alignment with business and GMP compliance requirements.
  5. PAS-X Issue Resolution: Resolve PAS-X-related issues onsite, including visibility of MO/PO, stuck records, peripheral device malfunctions, and general system access or performance concerns.
  6. Real-Time Shop Floor Support: Provide real-time shop floor support to Manufacturing, guiding end users on MES navigation, eBR execution, and optimal system use to promote self-sufficiency.
  7. Change Control and CAPA: Support change controls, CAPA processes, and integration of new product changes for GMBRs, MBRs, eBRs, and ESP across filling, inspection, and packaging operations.
  8. Platform and Server Maintenance: Assist with platform and server maintenance activities as the primary onsite resource, managing system administration and technical support needs.
  9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage actively with cross-functional project teams to build effective working relationships and ensure successful project execution.
  10. MES System Requirements: Participate in gathering and documenting MES system requirements through client interaction, workflow analysis, and documentation review.
  11. Fit-Gap Analysis: Contribute to fit-gap analysis between customer requirements and MES capabilities to inform system customization and enhancement.
  12. MES Solution Design and Rollout: Support the design and rollout of MES solutions to replace paper-based or manual processes, such as batch records, weigh & dispense, warehouse management, and material tracking.
  13. MES System Testing: Assist in testing MES systems and ensure readiness for deployment.
