Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist

This is a unique opportunity to join our interdisciplinary team as a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist. You will be working with individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) to co-create personalized rehabilitation plans that reflect their goals, strengths, and values.

About the Role:
  • You will lead on functional and therapeutic assessments, working closely with each individual to understand their needs and aspirations.
  • Your expertise will shape tailored rehabilitation programmes that promote independence and dignity.
  • You will share your knowledge through training and supervision, empowering staff and students to deliver person-centred care.
  • You will advocate for each person's voice to be heard, linking them with local services and supports that enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Working alongside individuals with ABI to co-create personalised rehabilitation plans
  2. Supporting people to build everyday living skills that promote confidence and independence
  3. Providing education and emotional support to families and carers
  4. Sharing your knowledge through training and supervision
  5. Advocating for each person's voice to be heard
Requirements:
  • Professional registration as an Occupational Therapist with at least 4 years post-qualification experience
  • A strong background in community rehabilitation and disability services
  • A passion for promoting independence and co-setting meaningful goals
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead and develop others
  • Sound judgement and attention to detail
