The Role

We're seeking an experienced Head of Clinical Services to lead and oversee the clinical operations of our organization. This is a senior leadership role that requires a dynamic individual who can ensure the delivery of outstanding care while driving clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Explore and develop opportunities to grow clinical services that support the wider healthcare system and are aligned with the company's mission, vision, and goals.
  2. Clinical Oversight: Provide leadership and supervision to directly oversee the system of supervision and support provided to the frontline via local management structures.
  3. Clinical Governance: Provide clinical leadership to the Quality and Safety team in the development and implementation of a robust clinical governance framework to ensure accountability for the quality and safety of care.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, national standards and accreditation standards.
  5. Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor clinical senior clinical management team, fostering professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse currently on the NMBI register (General Register at a minimum). Primary Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within acute, community or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
