
Business Performance Analyst

The role of Commercial Financial Analyst entails overseeing the analytical aspects of dedicated contracts across Ireland, collaborating closely with the wider commercial, finance, and operations teams to drive overall profitability for the business. This position requires preparing financial pricing models for month-end and year-end reporting, as well as providing business tool reports.
Main Responsibilities:- Regularly monitor and follow up on weekly and monthly profitability figures associated with designated client accounts.
- Continuously track and improve Customer KPIs/Profitability by implementing data-driven strategies.
- Provide accurate, timely, accessible, insightful, and robust management information to enhance commercial decision-making.
- Maintain margin protection and track account growth through regular commercial performance meetings.
- Prepare Annual Account Budgets & re-forecasting requirements, ensuring effective reporting and monitoring of performance against budget.
- This role interacts and coordinates activities with various departments, including Accounts, Operations, Technical, Marketing, Sales, and Procurement.
- Develop and maintain detailed cost analysis reports as required by customers and businesses to ensure accuracy in reported numbers.
- Implement best practice commercial finance practices across specific accounts, category management, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial reports.
- A degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
- Strong Excel modelling experience.
- Previous experience in commercial analytics.
- Effective influencing skills.
- Working knowledge of Navision is an advantage.
- A proven track record of results.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills are essential.
