Job Overview

The Junior/Site Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. This dynamic individual will oversee daily operations, manage work schedules, and collaborate with stakeholders to address site-related challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Interpret technical drawings, plans, and project specifications for accurate on-site execution.
  • Technical Quality Control: Conduct site surveys, use setting out equipment, and perform quality checks to ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting site inspections and risk assessments as needed.
  • Project Documentation and Reporting: Record site activities, manage resource tracking, and provide updates on site progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: 0 years required; emphasis on attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in surveying and setting out techniques, knowledge of CAD, project management software, and MS Office suite.
  • Certification: Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and necessary site safety certifications.
  • Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication skills.
