The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be part of the compliance team and will play a support role to ensure that the organisation meets its strategic objectives under the umbrella of regulatory requirements relevant to Irish e-money institutions.
This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, track, assess, and communicate new regulations affecting the financial services industry. They will maintain accurate records of compliance registers, provide regulatory advice to stakeholders, and develop training materials for regulatory updates.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely maintenance of compliance registers, including regulatory engagement and reporting.
- Provide support with horizon scanning activities to identify new regulations coming into scope.
- Offer regulatory advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders on regulatory matters.
- Support various business initiatives by providing advisory services as assigned.
- Maintain compliance documentation, policies, and procedures up-to-date.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of regulations applicable to Irish electronic money institutions.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to review information, identify trends, and regulatory risks.
- Attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy in document review.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders is preferred.
