Childcare Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Social Care Professional to join our team in Cavan. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with disabilities.

• Deliver person-centred care and support that promotes the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of our residents
• Implement care and placement plans in line with national standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance
• Supervise, mentor, and support staff teams to achieve exceptional outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Person-Centred Care: Deliver care and support that is tailored to the individual needs of each resident
• Care Planning: Implement care and placement plans in line with national standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support staff teams to achieve exceptional outcomes

• A minimum Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline
• Relevant experience working with children in care (management experience required for leadership/manager roles)
• Knowledge of social care principles and practice
