Lead Mechanical Designer

This is a key role within our in-house engineering team, responsible for supporting the delivery and optimization of our data centre facilities portfolio.

We are seeking an experienced mechanical designer to lead and review design solutions across multiple data centre projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre or critical environment projects and be proficient in reviewing and coordinating designs using tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.

In addition to leading design teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with external consultants and internal stakeholders to drive consistent design quality and project delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and coordinate mechanical design solutions across multiple data centre projects.
  • Collaborate with external design consultants and internal teams to drive consistent design quality and project delivery.
  • Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical risk assessments.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of design standards, guidelines, and specification templates.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in mechanical design.
  • Strong knowledge of data centre cooling technologies and energy-efficient mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in reviewing and coordinating designs using tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
