We are seeking a Structural Designer to lead our structural design and delivery teams in Belfast.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves playing a key role in the structural design of reinforced concrete structures, working on project delivery for both building structures and water-retaining infrastructure. As a seasoned engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to construction, coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure robust, efficient design solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the continued development of internal design standards and best practices.
To succeed in this challenging role, you should have:
- Chartered status with the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStruct E preferred).
- Proven experience delivering detailed designs and calculations for a wide range of structural systems.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. TEDDS, Tekla, Robot, etc.).
- A strong understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards.
