Mechanical Project Engineer Job

Join our team to work on major water treatment and construction projects in Dublin.

  • This is a full-time role based in Citywest, with site visits across Ireland.
  • The position reports to the Design-Build Manager and requires collaboration with design, drawing, and procurement departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure thorough knowledge of project deliverables and contractual requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and stakeholders throughout project execution.
  • Engage suppliers and subcontractors to meet project procurement needs.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing project delivery within budget and schedule.
  • Anticipate and manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate site activities carried out by clients and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company safety policies and support our Never Harm Culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management of MEICA teams, preferably in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Practical experience managing teams on construction sites and understanding health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to motivate and delegate tasks, prioritize workload, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
