About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior Associate to join the Pension Support team in the Client Services Department. In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our pension product offering, which includes occupational pension schemes, Personal Retirement Savings Accounts (PRASAs), Approved Retirement Funds (ARFs) and Retirement Bonds.
  • Coordinate and process maturity benefits, transfers out, Pension Adjustment Orders and Death Benefits claims.
  • Assist the Associate Director in Regulatory reporting.
  • Set up new pension policies and plans, Revenue submissions, and allocation of contributions or transfers of retained benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant pensions rules and legislation governing each of the pension product offerings, including IORPS II.
  • Issue Disclosure requirements to members and regulatory bodies.

About you

We are looking for someone who has a strong technical pensions background and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Pensions Administrator.
  • QFA essential.
  • Strong technical pensions knowledge and thorough understanding of statutory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
