As a senior occupational therapist, you will work closely with service users, families, and a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, person-centred care. Your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, developing tailored intervention plans, and supporting adults with disabilities in improving their daily living skills, mobility, and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Support adults with disabilities in improving their daily living skills, mobility, and functional independence.
- Provide specialist advice on assistive technology, seating assessments, home adaptations, and environmental modifications.
- Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, social workers, and nursing staff to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
- Lead and participate in service development initiatives to enhance therapy services.
- Supervise and mentor junior OTs, OT assistants, and students.
