About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment and intervention services to older persons with various rehabilitation needs. This will involve developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, and educating patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, CORU registration, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in rehabilitation. A full driving license and access to own car would be desirable, as well as residency in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Assessment and Interventions to Older Persons with a variety of Rehabilitation needs
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Provide guidance and support to junior therapists and occupational therapy assistants
