Technical Sales Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Technical Sales Specialist to lead our Data Center sales efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations that showcase the value of our services.

  • You will effectively communicate with prospective customers, building trust and confidence in our solutions.
  • Your strong client relationships will be built on a foundation of expertise, providing valuable insights into their infrastructure needs.
  • You will serve as a trusted advisor, offering expert product knowledge and technical consultation to potential clients.
  • Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling within existing client accounts based on their technical needs and future growth plans.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for new business acquisition.
  • Contribute to creating proposals and technical documentation for client solutions.
  • Provide post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful implementation of our services.

Requirements
  • An Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a related role such as Data Center Technician, Field Engineer, or similar position.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably within the technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of data center best practices, including cabling standards, racking, and power distribution.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting server hardware, networking equipment, and related components.
