Accountant Needed for Accounts Payable Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes, including verifying invoices for payment and reconciling vendor statements.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable processes, including verifying invoices for payment.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare payment runs in alignment with company schedules and vendor terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions using accounting software.
  • Support additional bookkeeping tasks as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
  • Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field would be an advantage.
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with Irish tax regulations.
