Lead Mainframe Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mainframe Analyst to oversee the configuration, maintenance, upgrading, and administration of mainframe infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to take on a leadership role in managing and supporting multi-vendor mainframe hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, upgrade, configure, and support multi-vendor mainframe hardware and software.
  • Develop and maintain REXX procedures to automate system and operational tasks.
  • Manage performance and capacity across CPU, disk space, network adapters, and application connectivity.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and comprehensive documentation for all mainframe systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Solid experience with IBM z Series mainframe systems, z/VM, and z/VSE operating systems.
  • Proficiency with CMS XEDIT/EXEC/PIPE/REXX and CA IDMS.
  • Experience with Dell SYMCLI for Power Max data mirroring and cloning.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
