Job Summary:

The Digital Director is responsible for overseeing the digital portfolio, driving change and ensuring a modern policing organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the technology infrastructure estate, maintaining optimal resilience and security.
  • Develop and implement the Digital strategy, aligning with organisational goals.
  • Lead the delivery of the Information Technology Roadmap, continuously evaluating to ensure alignment with priorities and business value.

Requirements:

  • A third-level qualification in IT or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in senior-level positions with stakeholder engagement and resource management.
  • Direct experience of accountability for mission-critical systems with 24/7 operations.
  • Expertise in information technology strategy development and leading digitally enabled change programmes.
