Our organisation is a leading provider of specialist services to children and adults with disabilities.

The Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) works collaboratively with the Health Service Executive (HSE) and voluntary organisations to deliver high-quality care.

This permanent full-time role will be based in Clontarf with travel to other CRC centers as required.

As a Clinical Specialist Dietitian, you will provide person-centred dietetic care for children and young people presenting with multiple and complex disabilities.

Your expertise will be essential in supporting children and young people requiring nutrition support, presenting with Feeding Eating Drinking and Swallowing difficulties or complex feeding difficulties.

You will have a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the delivery of dietetic activities within CRC.

You will receive ongoing clinical supervision and managerial support as part of our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality dietetic care to children and young people with complex disabilities
  • Support children and young people requiring nutrition support
  • Develop and enhance the delivery of dietetic activities within CRC

Requirements:

  • Current CORU registration approved by the Dietitians Registration Board
  • A minimum of five years' post-qualification dietetic experience of which 4 years full-time (or equivalent) must be consecutive in the area of paediatric dietetics
  • Experience working with children with complex health needs
  • Knowledge of the assessment and treatment of complex feeding issues
  • Post-graduate training in the management of complex feeding problems using approaches such as SOS
