We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to service users.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with the Occupational Therapy Manager to plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate the service to meet the needs of service users and organisational objectives.
  • The Senior Occupational Therapist will provide and deliver a high-quality occupational therapy service in designated clinical areas, including clinical, educational, and administrative duties.
  • The role requires working flexibly and being prepared to cover other services as required, including older person and rheumatology units.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment programs for service users.
  2. To provide expert advice and guidance on occupational therapy best practices to colleagues and stakeholders.
  3. To participate in professional development opportunities to maintain current knowledge and skills in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Occupational Therapist with experience in rehabilitation settings.
  • Holds a current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
