Job Profile

We are seeking an experienced and skilled healthcare professional to provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgery.

This role is ideal for a dedicated individual with a minimum of 1-2 years post-registration experience in acute care, particularly in specialized areas. A postgraduate qualification or relevant educational course would be highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the surgical and anaesthetic team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and delivering a quality service.

Flexibility and adaptability are key requirements for this role, along with personal and professional accountability for patient care. Experience with electronic health records would also be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the surgical and anaesthetic team
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:
