Our company is a well-established and experienced practice based in Limerick.

This firm focuses on a wide variety of projects in the healthcare, education, commercial and residential sectors.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our modern office based in Limerick city.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the detailed design of architectural projects, ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant statutory and building regulations using their technical and building construction expertise.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and submitting statutory applications
  • Tender packages including drawings, schedules, specifications and construction documentation
  • Attending meetings with clients, design teams, contractors and other specialists
  • Assisting with ensuring compliance with clients' briefs, current Irish Planning, Building and Health & Safety Regulations as well as other relevant legislation
  • Visiting sites and carrying out site inspections
Requirements:
  • Degree in Architectural Technology or related discipline
  • 8+ years' experience working in an architectural firm
  • Proactive with strong initiative and motivation
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Irish Planning, Building Regulations, Building Control, and Irish Health & Safety legislation
  • AutoCAD with Revit experience desirable
  • Full driving licence and access to own car as role requires frequent travel to sites
