Project Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee client-side project management work on a large-scale capital project.

This role offers opportunities for career growth and can be based in either Tullamore or Kildare.

The successful candidate will assist in managing and monitoring the construction programme and cost plan, minimising the impact of any variations on the project.

  • Keep stakeholders informed of progress, cost, and relevant issues.
  • Oversee tender and contractor/consultant appointment processes.
  • Chair and minute project review meetings.
  • Maintain buildings, services, and equipment according to approved maintenance programmes.
  • Ensure smooth information flow between all parties to the contract.
  • Identify and predict potential bottlenecks and delays, action remedies.
  • Agree valuations and final accounts for contractors and consultants.
  • Monitor build and material quality.
  • Ensure contractor and consultancy contractual compliance.
  • Assist in front-end design planning and procurement of other projects within our clients portfolio.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Level 8 Degree in Engineering or Construction-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' engineering experience with a contractor or consulting engineers.
  • Knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement methodologies.
  • A proven track record of seeing projects through to successful completion.
  • A current driving license and vehicle.
