Senior Cloud Engineer Role

This is a senior technical position requiring project delivery, support escalation, and mentorship within a dynamic environment supporting cloud infrastructure.

You'll work closely with clients, lead medium to large-scale projects, resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality IT services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for customer infrastructure-both remotely and on-site.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Oversee and deliver IT infrastructure projects, from planning to implementation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party service providers.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), Networking, firewalls, and endpoint protection, Backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
  • Experience with Hybrid IT Environments (Cloud + On-Prem).
  • 10+ years of relevant IT experience.
  • Third-level qualification in a relevant technical field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Full, clean driver's license (field work/travel may be required).
