
Support Workers for Community-Based Environment

We are seeking passionate professionals to join our team of care workers in a full-time permanent position. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults and adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as the ability to follow and contribute to plans and methods to meet individuals' ongoing needs.
Care workers in this role will be supporting people with physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs to live an ordinary life in a community-based environment. They work across multiple residential communities and services nationwide, offering person-centred care that transforms lives.
Job Requirements- Hold a minimum of Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
- Have at least one year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Experience working with challenging behaviours is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of legislation protecting vulnerable adults.
- Hold a full, clean manual driver's license and have the availability of your own car.
- Ability to follow, evaluate, and contribute to plans and methods to meet individuals' ongoing needs.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
