Quality Specialist Role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality and environmental compliance across our construction projects.

About The Job

The Quality Specialist will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining our Integrated Management System (IMS), adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Quality Management System Implementation:
    • Support the continual improvement and maintenance of our IMS, aligning with industry best practices.
    • Verify adherence to ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
  • Project Quality Oversight:
    • Advise project teams to meet or exceed client expectations and specifications, as well as relevant construction standards.
    • Conduct regular internal Quality & Environmental Audits to identify areas for improvement and assess project compliance with IMS procedures.
    • Collaborate with project teams to recognize potential quality and environmental issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
    • Assist site management teams in preparing Quality Control documentation, including Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Inductions.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization.
Qualifications And Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in quality management within the construction industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field would be preferred.
  • An ISO 9001 internal auditor qualification.
  • A professional certification in quality management (e.g., MCQI, IRCA) would be desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards 9001, 14001, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • A full driving license.
