About the Position

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading projects at a community centre. The centre aims to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to engage in their community through various programmes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead Resource Programmes as set by senior colleagues.
  • Support the development of Youth Services in the area.
  • Facilitate access to community facilities and activities for members.
  • Support individual service users in line with our organisational approach.
  • Maintain records as required.
  • Mentor and support colleagues in project delivery.
Liaison and Communication

Closely liaise with senior colleagues, staff, volunteers, members, and their families. Establish links with relevant agencies and educational institutes.

Requirements
  • A recognised qualification in Healthcare Support or similar field.
  • Previous experience working within Intellectual Disability services is advantageous.
  • Strong computer and administration skills are essential.
